Blair County Man Jailed After Threats To Kill Anyone On His Property

Forty-eight-year-old Mark David Strait of Roaring Spring, is jailed in the Blair County Prison on $100,000 bail, following his arrest in Taylor Township on Wednesday for allegedly threatening to kill individuals on a Woodbury Pike property, while intoxicated and armed.  Freedom Township Police apprehended Strait after he initially barricaded himself inside a home with children, later seizing a 9 mm handgun from him.  A preliminary hearing is slated for May 28^th.
