Penn State’s Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity chapter will implement a comprehensive intervention plan and has accepted a one-semester suspension to resolve allegations of hazing from the spring 2025 semester, and that’s according to a release from the university. Following an investigation into practices like servitude and alcohol misuse, the chapter removed over 70 members and, through a voluntary resolution process, agreed to mandatory training and ongoing monitoring by the university. Penn State has suspended 10 fraternity chapters, including nine for hazing. The latest is Delta Chi, facing a minimum four-year suspension since April due to hazing, substance violations, and policy breaches.
