A 27-year-old Nanty Glo man, identified as Calvin Ates, died early yesterday after losing control of his motorcycle and sliding off Admiral Peary Highway in Munster Township, Cambria County. Pennsylvania State Police reported the incident occurred around 2 a.m. when the rider failed to negotiate a curve, resulting in a fatal crash. Ates was pronounced dead at the scene.
