Pollen counts are currently at high levels across Central and Western Pennsylvania, and that’s according to Pollen.com, which released a map of pollen levels in each state. The high pollen counts in the Commonwealth are generally driven by tree pollen such as Oak and Maple, and emerging grass pollen. Levels can spike or dip depending on exact location, recent rainfall, and wind conditions. Those who suffer from allergies are encouraged to limit time outdoors, dust their homes, wash sheets regularly, and shower after being outdoors.
