MIT Researcher Helps Create Lyme Disease Test

A researcher at MIT is helping to launch an at-home test for Lyme disease.  The new test, called LymeAlert, allows people to quickly test ticks for the infection.  It can detect Lyme disease within 15 minutes.  The goal is to provide peace of mind and early treatment options.  A limited batch of the test kits will be available this summer.
