The number of first time filings for unemployment are increasing across Pennsylvania. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending May 16th, there were over 98-hundred first time filings in the state, which is more filings than the week prior. Nationally, the number of initial filings decreased compared to the week prior.
