Opioid money coming to PA

Those reports suggest that opioid manufactures nationwide have agreed to a settlement totaling just under $41 billion which go to states and local communities dealing with the opioid crisis. Pennsylvania is set to receive some of that money, it was reported that Pennsylvania is in line for $1 billion. All 67 counties will receive money from the settlement. In Clearfield County, the District Attorney announced his county will get $561,000 which will go for paying for drug treatment programs for opioid addicts. 4 of the nations largest drug makers agreed to pay out some $26 billion over the next 18 years. According to the CDC, more than 107,000 people died from drug overdoses last year.
