Many residents were at the hearing, explaining how the pool is a large part of the community, and that officials need to do something to either repair or replace the aging facility. Residents will be afforded the opportunity to give their thoughts on the matter. They will be given a chance to use a survey to help with input into what needs to be done with the pool. Bellwood would then have to apply to the dept of conservation and natural resources for grant money for any pool project. A study to gather information, concerning potential upgrades, additions, improvements or enhancements will first be needed to form a final plan, where all things surrounding the pool will need to be addressed.
