According to a report by WTAJ, the Governor is proposing that Harrisburg drop the current taxes on cell phones across the state. Currently Pennsylvanians pay more than a 16% tax on your monthly cellphone statement, which amounts to maybe a couple of dollars. Shapiro stated that most of us have cellphones and that being and staying connected is essential to everyday living. No other details were released for this blockbuster tax drop proposal.
