That word comes in a story from WJAC. Residents say they are not in favor of a proposed multi million dollar asphalt plant to be located on a parcel of land just off of mine 37 road. Residents who live in that area say they are all for the plant, just not in their backyard. One resident even went as far to say that residents should come together to help select another location. Residents said that they are concerned that the proposed plant would bring increased traffic, noise pollution and bring down property values.
