The former Bedford County District Attorney has had her law license suspended for two years following a State Supreme Court review of a number of alleged misconduct incidents. Leslie Childers-Potts resigned from her position in February of last year after her office came under fire for the way it handled a number of major criminal cases. Reportedly the alleged misconduct, by her and her staff, resulted in a number of mistrials and prosecutorial complaints. Yesterday, the state’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel ordered the suspension, which she agreed to.
