A 29-year-old Clearfield County man is facing charges that include aggravated arson, and risking catastrophe after he allegedly started a fire Sunday afternoon, in a garage attached to a home where his brother and two dogs were present. Sandy Township Police arrested Kolton Kemmer of Dubois. A firefighter who arrived first at the scene reported that Kemmer allegedly confessed to setting the blaze. According to police, Kemmer admitted he was watching a football game when he decided to take his medication, retrieved a lighter and some gasoline meant for a lawnmower, and doused a box with the accelerant before setting it on fire. Kemmer has been placed in the Clearfield County Prison in lieu of bail.
