On Friday, the Penn State Board of Trustees gave the go ahead for alcohol to be sold at the football field. Beer will be made available at most sections of the stadium, except for those closest to the student sections. Right now, alcohol is only available to club seat holders or suites at both Beaver Stadium and Pegula ice arena. Anyone 21 or older must show proof of age regardless before they will be sold an ID wristband so they can purchase beer. There are 8 other big 10 schools that currently sell beer at football games. No start date for beer sales was announced.
