An Altoona domestic violence victim and two accomplices were arrested for conspiring to attack the witness who reported her attacker. Investigators found that 29-year-old Ashley Aurandt and the incarcerated attacker, 39-year-old Sidney Hill, orchestrated the April 2nd assault to intimidate the witness, resulting in new charges for all parties involved. Also charged in this case were 36-year-old Erickson McKinnon, and 27-year-old Taivon Mitchell. All are facing witness intimidation and other related charges that are as a result of a domestic assault between Aurandt and Hill which ultimately led to Hill’s arrest. While Hill was already incarcerated in the Blair County Prison, the others were placed there as well with bail set at $40,000 each.
